To help give you a taste of what this country has to offer, we have listed down some of the places that you’ll get to enjoy once you visit Pakistan and use our travel services. If you’re curious to learn more, here are the places that you need to know:

Naltar valley

Only a few places exist in the world where it makes its visitors feel like they’ve been transported into another dimension and Naltar valley is one of them. A couple of hours outside of Gilgit, this beautiful tourist destination consists of various lakes and pine trees which makes it appear as if it’s been ripped straight out of a fantasy book.

This spot’s out of this world aspects make Naltar valley a great place for taking fantasy-like photos. With its gigantic trees, it will make you feel like you’re Alice in Wonderland.

Additionally, Naltar valley is known for its cultivated potatoes which are considered the world’s best potatoes. Don’t believe us? Find out for yourself when you visit this amazing tourist spot!

Gilgit-Baltistan

Pakistan is home to various terrains and the best example of this is Gilgit-Baltistan. Once you set foot up north, you’ll come across this tourist spot because of its prominence in the country. This isn’t a bad thing though as this place is the best destination for thrill-seekers and scenery admirers alike.

Once you arrive in Gilgit-Baltistan, you’ll instantly be greeted by mirror-like lakes and various mountain peaks. Speaking of mountains, the ones you’ll see here go north of 20,000 feet with the most famous ones being Nanga Parbat and K-2.

Thrill-seekers won’t have a mundane time during their visit here since the place offers various activities that will cater to their adrenaline-filled activity needs. If you’re eager to hone your skiing skills, you can freely do so by visiting the nearby Naltar Ski Resort while adventurers can hike up the Fair Meadows where an astonishing view is waiting at the top.

Phander Lake

If you want to visit a serene place where you can be left alone with your thoughts, there’s no better place to visit than Phander Lake. Here, you can reflect on your life by being at one with nature. Take a walk along the majestic lakeside as you observe and admire the teal-coloured lake itself.

This, coupled with the surrounding trees make it a perfect spot for meditating since you’ll hear nothing but the calming quietness of the lake as well as the birds chirping in the distance. Another reason why this place is perfect for people who want to be left alone with their thoughts is that it doesn’t draw that many tourists compared to other lakes in the country.

Moreover, Phander Lake also has a selection of nearby accommodation options that will help you feel at home in this serene place. You can also choose a place based on your budget as there are ones that are more affordable than others. Regardless of which you choose, you’ll be receiving world-class amenities, services and most importantly, hospitality.

Lahore

If you want to tick a lot of boxes in one destination, the ancient city of Lahore is the perfect destination for you. At first glance, you may be surprised to know that this place is a city thanks to its old-timey buildings that appear as if they were built centuries ago. This makes a lot of sense since Lahore was built during the Mughal Empire which reigned between 1526 to 1530.

Aside from the city being a tourist attraction itself, it’s also home to various history-filled monuments and Mosques such as:

  • Lahore Fort
  • Badshahi Mosque
  • Wazir Khan Mosque.

These examples are just scratching the surface though since you’ll also find various shrines and tombs across the city. Every corner in this city is filled with adventure, all you have to do is explore!

Kalash Valleys

One of the most important things that you should know about Pakistan before visiting is that it’s comprised of various ethnic groups which makes it a diverse country. If you want to see this culture displayed in all its glory, we recommend visiting Kalash Valleys.

This valley is part of the largest district in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa which is a prominent province in the country. Here, you’ll find mountain ranges, valleys and monuments that are perfectly preserved by the different ethnic groups of the province.

However, the main highlight of this tourist attraction is the Kalasha people themselves. Their natural blue eyes are coupled with some of the most colourful garbs that you’ll see in the entire country.

If you time your visit right, you can experience one of their annual festivals first-hand! During these events, you can immerse yourself in the group’s culture through dancing, wine brewing and instrument playing.

Mohenjo-daro

If you want to immerse yourselves in the country’s history and culture, one of the best places that you can go to is Mohenjo-daro. This historical site can be dated back to 2500 B.C. where it played a huge role in the Indus Valley Civilisation where it served as a public bath thanks to its water management system.

However, the city was eventually abandoned during 1900 BC and it wasn’t until the 1920s until it was founded by excavators. Fast forward to today,  it’s now considered a UNESCO World Heritage site and is visited by thousands of tourists every year.

Deosai Plains National Park

If you’ve always wanted to look at the world from a different perspective, try travelling to Deosai, often dubbed as the roof of the world. This tourist spot gained its nickname rightfully so as it stands 13,497 feet from the ground making it the second tallest plateau in the world, trailing behind China’s Qinghai-Tibetan plateau.

Visitors who are determined enough to embark on this journey will be rewarded with majestic views consisting of mirror-like blue lakes, snowy peaks, green fields and more. On top of that, this plateau is also home to the world-famous Himalayan Brown Bear so be careful if you’re planning to camp here.

Hingol National Park

Another marvellous park that’s worth your time here in Pakistan is the Hingol National Park. The country is known for making you feel like you’ve been transported to another dimension which is evident in Naltar Valley but Hingol National Park will take you to a different planet!

Just by glancing at its vast canyons, you’ll find unique-looking rock formations that look straight out of Mars itself. However, the most prominent land formation that you’ll find in the 6,000 square kilometre park is a mud volcano. If you’re wondering what a mud volcano is, it’s exactly what it sounds like, it’s a vent in the ground but instead of discharging molten lava, it shoots out hot mud.

During your journey to this amazing tourist spot, you’ll also encounter several species of animals that range from herbivores to carnivores. Just be careful not to get too close to them as some animals may not be as friendly.

Hingol National Park also runs along the oceanside making it possible for you to see the beautiful ocean at all times no matter how far you are from the coast. The best part about this tourist spot is that it’s relatively nearby to one of Pakistan’s most famous cities, Karachi. This means that after immersing yourself in the country’s most populated city, you can head to this out of this world park!

Rama Meadow

If you’re looking to slow down time and observe nature in all its glory, feel free to visit Rama Meadow during your trip.  Here, you can relax as you watch livestock animals such as sheep and cows live in peace.

You’ll be greeted with a vast field full of luscious grass and other plants when you head to Rama Meadow. On top of that, you’ll also get a glimpse of the beautiful mountain of Nanga Parbat.

Get to visit these world-famous destinations!

Now that you’ve seen what this country has to offer in terms of tourist destinations, it’s time for you to book your trip to Pakistan! From history-filled landmarks to jaw-dropping sceneries, you won’t have a mundane time during your visit here. The best part is that you won’t have to do it alone as you can inquire with us here at Harcheaz so that you can avail of our travel services!
